Having trained in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and hip-hop Carrie is a proud graduate of Colorado State University (B.A. in Performing Arts-Emphasis in Dance) and of The Foundations of Dance Education, Dance Education Laboratory at the 92nd St Y and currently serves on faculty at Peridance Capezio Center and is hon- ored to serve as a Teaching Artist for New York City Ballet Education. As a certified Pi- lates Mat Instructor (Kane School of Core Integration) and continuous student of human anatomy, Carrie has attended the FAMI (Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries) Workshop by Kinected and Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and continues to strength- en her own teaching by studying Kinesiology/Anatomy/Ideokinesis from master anatomist/teacher, Irene Dowd. Talia received her 200 HR YTT from The Kripalu School of Yoga in 2013 and has since taken numerous trainings, specifically focusing on Yin Yoga and meditation. She loves yoga not for it's physical benefits, but for the ways it teaches us how to engage with life in a skillful and meaningful way, the twenty-three hours a day when we are off the mat. Talia is also a Life Coach for women in their twenties and encourages her clients to get to know themselves intimately, develop their deepest passions, and uncover their truest selves. Talia is also an avid reader, plant eater, and mountain lover.
